Welcome To My Home
In my neighborhood
in which you roam
you'll find a house
where I call home.
There's my driveway
hard as stone
you'll see the cars
my parents own.
There's the front garden
flora of many kind
and in the spring,
the branches bind.
A wooden porch hugs the house
snug like a little mouse
The swings always sway
A new adventure happens each day
But what I love most of all
Is after a long day of school
My puppy, Piper
comes rushing down the hall
to welcome me home
with warm kisses and all.
