Why my Home Means so Much to Me

My home means a lot to me because I have a lot of memories and I grew up there. I have lived in my house for 5 years and I live with my mom and older sister. My house has 5 bedrooms. The extra bedrooms are for when my cousins stay over. The backyard has a basketball net which I use with my sister. Sadly my sister usually wins. I also have a swing set that I do not really use anymore. I also have a deck and sometimes when it is warmer my mom makes food on it. My house also has a lot of furniture in it that makes me feel at home. For example, we have a rounded table in the living room that has good memories because it is a table that we have had for a long time. My favourite room in the house is my bedroom. My bedroom has dark green walls and has a black, large desk beside my bed that has a computer. I have another small desk that is gray and I keep my stuffed animals on it. I keep my clothes in the closet. The floor is wood and I have a small window that looks out to the backyard. This is my favourite room because I have lots of fun there. I paint pictures, sometimes draw and when my cousin comes over we hang out there. I love my room because it is quiet and no one bothers me. In my house, we have had many fun parties. One tradition is Christmas. During Christmas, my cousin comes over and we make a Christmas cake and decorate gingerbread houses. We also put up a Christmas tree. We also wrap gifts and open gifts. My house is a good place and I love living there.
