My View of Home

My view of home is how someone would feel after reuniting with family. My home is full of memories. I see the nice and cozy sofas where my family gather up and laugh over old memories. I see the kitchen where I beg my mom to make noodles and the smell of fresh noodles waiting there on the dining table to get eaten, the stairs where I learned how to walk from crawling to running. I see the bedrooms that were once empty but now are full of my stuff. The thing about my home is that I won't forget that I once lived there. It's nice to have stuff, but it is the memories that are important. The smell of the lavender perfume my mother sprays, or the smell of scrumptious food cooking in the kitchen, it's all unforgettable. Houses are made of bricks but home is made of love. Home is a enchanting place where one grows up in beauty and creates memories from birthday parties to movie nights and even just a game of hide and seek. Home is like a envelope full of old pictures of our loved ones. Home is the base where everyone's childhood begins. There is no right word to define home. For me home is safe, the place where I can feel free. Home is where I can do almost anything. I love how home is a place where anyone can feel comfortable. I think everybody should have a home because home is not a place it's a feeling. This is my view of my sanctuary, my home!
