My Home
Home is a feeling not a place,
Where I live with my loved ones with grace.
Home is where my sister was born as light as a feather,
then she grew up to be so clever.
Home is where my mom loves me pure
Keeping me so safe and secure.
We giggle at the dining table,
And snuggle for the bedtime fable.
Home is where I play chess with my dad
He loses on purpose to make me feel glad.
Home is where mom and dad work like busy bees on a farm,
so we can get a life full of charm!
Home is where grandparents make me feel confident and strong
Their arms are always open no matter what I did wrong.
Home is where we worship God, celebrate our festivals together
and dance to the tune of happiness forever.
Home is where I read books, then get to pretend to be a pirate with hooks.
It's where I can roam like it's my own dome.
Home is where I play sports,
and inside I make forts.
Home is where we drink Fanta
and get presents from Santa.
Home is where love has grown
more than an overtaxed loan.
Home is my nest where I feel the best.
