The Meaning of Home

Home means to me playing with my brother, sleeping in my bedroom, and having my family around me. When I’m doing all these things, I feel happy. Usually my brother and I play video games, board games like Battleship, or we play with our toys. We have so much fun that time passes fast. Sleeping in my bed makes it so that I’m not grumpy in the morning. It makes me have a better day and more fun. I have two houses, my mom’s and my dad’s. At my dad’s, everything is calm and quiet. We eat dinner at the dining room table. Megan and Dad make us vegetarian meals, my favourite is the pizza. And we have movie nights on Friday and don’t have to do our reading. At my mom’s everything is loud and crazy. We have lots of pets and animals and my brother and I are going to get guinea pigs next. Sometimes mom picks us up from daycare and we go on little mini-vacations for the day. We eat dinner on the couch, usually while watching TV. Although my two houses are different, I feel at home at both of the houses because I have my family around me.
