The Meaning of Home

Home means joy and happiness. But home doesn't just mean that. It can mean way more so I'm going to tell my story of Home! When I was two, I lived with my pregnant mom, dad and dog named Smudge (Smudge is not alive anymore) in a very little duplex. It only had two bedrooms. But the problem was my parents bedroom was upstairs and I was down stairs so that was pretty far for a two year old. Also one of the baths was not in it’s own room. So, if you wanted to have a bath you couldn't have any privacy. In my bedroom the flooring and the wall paper was not good. So we changed the flooring, wall paper, bathtub, and stars! We did it even though it took a long time and a lot of effort. We did it for a safe and peaceful home. It’s really important for people to have a safe home. I'm sorry for people that do not have a safe home or even have a home at all. I hope that some of the families get a home with Habitat for Humanity because everyone deserves a home to have safety, joy, and happiness.
