The Meaning of Home

When I think of home, I think of family and cooking with my dad. Me and my dad like cooking and sometimes me and my mom. But mostly my dad was the one that taught me how to cook and sometimes I made dinner. But mostly I think of family. Family are the people who love you, care for you, and support you. My family is not the best at getting along but I'm thankful to have one cause I know some people don't have family or don’t have the best relationship. Ok so my mom and I do not have the best relationship. I do love her and I know she loves me. She gets me the support I need for my ADHD. Some families don't have all that support. My family’s not perfect but I have their support so overall I'm thankful and yeah. There’s one more thing that means home to me. Music. Yes music pulls my family together which makes home much better. Music helps our family bond. We will mostly listen to records but not always. We will usually listen to David Bowie or Michael Jackson, mostly Michael Jackson. So what home means to me is the care, support, and love from family and the music that brings us all together.
