Meaning of Home

My home is special and it’s not like any other. It’s not just a building, it's a place where I feel safe and welcome.It does not have to be big and fancy, it can be small and cozy.It’s a place to escape the stress of life.Home is where you feel free and where you can share your emotions. Home is where you make memories that will stay with you for life.I’ve made several memories in every room of my home. Such as in the kitchen when my mom made me my favorite meal after losing a ringette game.Or in the living room where my dad would tickle me and my sister till we would laugh so much we cried. Home is where you know your loved and where you feel safe.For example, when i’m feeling down my mom would hug me or whenever i’m sad my sister will make me laugh.Home is where you learn from your mistakes.I am very lucky to have a home a cozy bed to keep me warm and in every room memories are born. Everyone should have a home and that’s why I love what Habitat for Humanity is doing for the people without homes.
