More than a House

Home is more than a house, And this is where I grow. Home is where I learn, My favourite place to know. A place where I was raised, From very small to tall. A place that I will cherish, A place that is for all. A place where I have cried, And where I laugh and talk. A place where I've learned things, Like just how to walk. A place that’s for running, WIth warmth, loving and care. A place that’s for joy, And so much to spare. A house is just an address, A place where you can be. Home is so much different, I think that you’ll agree? But sometimes will we move, So very far away. But home is always with us, Until another day. As the sun is setting, And nighttime closes in. A home is more than a house, It’s the love and joy within.
