What is a Home?

What is the meaning of home? I think the meaning of home is a place which you feel safe in, and has things that make you happy. Is a home the same as a house? I think that a house is not a home because a home is something special to you and a house is a piece of land which you can buy, and has no meaning until you give it a meaning.
