What home means to me

A home is a place that’s similar to a house but the inside is different. For example a house has couches, a bed and maybe a fridge, but it doesn't have memories, people or guaranteed safety. I used to complain about my home a lot, “it was too small, there were noises upstairs. Too cold in winter and too hot in summer” but that’s not really what my home is like. My home holds memories such as pictures and drawings I drew. There is also a place where I can feel safe and be myself. But most of all it's where my family is. My home is where my family is. I think everyone deserves a nice warm home. That’s why I'm thankful to Habitat for humanity for giving a chance to the homeless.
