The Man on the Street
The Man on the Street
By Charley
There is a man who lives on the street. He is cold, no home to sleep in, no oven to cook his food, and just a crumb to eat. He might have a family to feed, no place to sleep, he stays up watching his family so they don't get hurt in their sleep. They walk all day to find a nickel on their way back. He has two kids to feed. He tries to find a job every day but they all turn him down because of the way he looks and smells. If he had a home he could clean up and he can enroll his kids in a school. His kids, him, his family would have a nice warm place to sleep. He has a kitchen to cook in, a room to sleep in, he does not have to stay up and make sure his family are all cozy in their beds. This is home.
