A Home is not a Place
My house is a structure
humble and low,
Where I feel safe
and the feelings to tow,
Are happiness, kindness
thoughts and worries,
Now my house is a home
yes, I know.
To find a home
you must have a place,
Where you know and love
and know how to pace,
When feeling low.
Though having a house is a
lot to commit,
Having a home is
worth every bit,
Of anger, worry
emotions in a flurry,
Though I know it’s worth
every hit.
More people deserve
more than they’ve got,
Now more and more have joined
the thought,
For a better world
all with a home,
Now hundreds more have
their own space to roam.
