What Home Means

When people think of home people think of a house or a place to sleep but the real importance of home is to be able to settle in it and to have resources like water and food in one place. That is the importance of home, the true topic of this writing piece. To me, home is not what I wrote above but it's an area meant for you to live, make food, clean yourself, entertain yourself and finally sleep in it. In return, you clean, repair, and upgrade it to make it serve you better, and make it more like you. Home is not a physical thing but the area you settle in to survive. It's like a trade. You take care of it and it does the same for you. Home is an area where you do exactly that. This is the true meaning of home to me.
