What is Home?

Home is your shelter, no matter the size. Home is the place where you're warm inside, the place where you make memories, and the area where you feel safe within. When I get home from school, I touch the cold, round doorknob, I smell the delicious, homemade food. I hear my family chatting and then greeting me. This makes me feel happy, joyful, comfortable, thankful, and most importantly, it makes me feel loved. My home started as a house. Empty. We had to renovate and it took months, but we had faith. Then finally, it was finished. My house had turned into a home, filled with love.
