Meaning of Home

There's so many reasons why there's importance for homes. We normally don’t ask the importance of our homes. No matter where we live, the thought of the importance of our homes never slipped our minds. The importance of having a home is that people need a house to keep warm, need a place to stay or to rest. Without a house, many will be living in the streets and suffer and could die in the cold, especially our weather here in Winnipeg, which gets really cold easily. The importance of sense of belonging is to make everyone feel welcomed and no one will be left out. Making someone belong will brighten their day, and those factors may and hopefully give them support, especially if they don’t cope well with certain things. What makes a house feel like a house is you get alone time and do your own stuff. Each individual's house is all placed, organized and designed in a specific way. Either it be the placement of the living room to the placement of the bedroom, everyone is different . Another way of what makes a house a home is to make it cozy, so that’s what makes it a home. How is having a home related to one's well being? Making yourself comfortable in your own house where you have your own decorations and room, and where someone is feeling just the way they are, which is feeling like themselves.
