My home is my home...

I love my home. On cold days it keeps me warm and on warm days it keeps me comfortable. When it rains outside I can go inside. Even though I have a nice house to live in, I still like to play outside. Sometimes when there is a thunderstorm I know that I’m safe because I have a roof over my head. My house has all it needs. But the most important thing is that my house is where all the fun happens, where I first learned to walk, talk, run, read, write and a lot more things. It is where a lot of things happen. No matter how small or big your house is it doesn’t matter- the physical space isn’t as important as the love that is found inside. In your home you should feel safe and comfortable. You should be able to talk out loud. I’m one of the lucky kids. I have a house but that is not the whole point. Some people do not have a house to live in. That is why I’m writing this. I’m writing this to make money for the people that need a house. My home is my home. Your home is your home. Even if it is an apartment, tent, boat, your house can be anything. Every night before I go to bed I think about the people that have no house. Then I wish for everyone to have a house to live in. Then when I go to bed I dream about all the different homes you can have. I'm happy to do this to raise money for the people who need a warm place to live. I hope that by writing this will make some money for the people that need a nice home to live in. -Chloe Devoe NMES
