Home

Home is a place where you should feel safe. Surrounded by your loved ones. I always feel so peaceful when I’m home with the ones I love most. I’m still always being careful though, you never know what could break a home. I know there may be ups and downs but that’s just a part of what comes along with a home. I’m happy that my home can always turn my frown upside down. There may be bills, but it’s always a thrill to arrive home after a long tiring day. Home is where I have grown. The winter snow around my home is such a wonder. Tiny houses or big houses it really doesn’t matter. I just know that my home is welcoming to all. I hope you know that everyone deserves a home, not just the ones who are able to afford one. There’s a light breeze in my home and the smell of delicious food always awaits me. Happiness, love and warmth is all that I long for in a home. I hope I can spread love across the world with this poem, hoping it would reach someone in need of love in their own home. Home should be a positive environment, where we are supported no matter what. My home may not be perfect, but it’s the imperfect style of my home that I love. I feel sorrow for those who don’t have a home. I wish they could just borrow a home, so therefore they don’t have to live out in the cold. It's truly heartbreaking just to see anyone out there. I’m so grateful for having the chance to write this poem. Together we can work as a team to bring homes for thoses that need it most. I’m so lucky to have a happy, beautiful and imperfect home. No matter what age we are, we all deserve a home.
