The meaning of home

I can't imagine life without a place to call home. When I think of home it is something everyone should have in life. The meaning of home to me is many things but there are a few that stand out. For example, having a family in your home is so important because they can be there to stick up for you and help you through tough times. And I'm glad I have a safe home to live in. There are lots of things that matter to me in my home like the pets and the belongings inside it. Even knowing that we have extra money to pay for things like toys and special treats, it’s a great thought to be able to have. Imagine if your house burnt down you would not have all of those memories and your belongings would all be gone. That is why being grateful is so important because you have to think a lot of people don’t have access to a home to live in and you do . When I think of a home I think of a feeling and place where you are safe and loved. For example, when you go to your friend's house it does not give the same feeling like your home because that is where your pets are, your room is and your family is. Overall I think that is what makes a home a home. And I think everyone small big tall short should be able to have that experience.
