What Home Means to Me

This is what home means to me. Home is a fun place and a place that I feel comfortable. Home is where I can relax and take down the stress. Home is a happy, relaxed place with lots of love and trust. Home is a place where I feel safe. But this isn’t the case for all people as some people have no house or no place to call home because some live on the streets and some just don't think it's home because they don't feel safe. A house is just some walls and a roof but that's not a home. Home is a safe and happy place or at least it should be. I can’t even begin to imagine what it is like for those with no house or a place to call home and I think all should know how lucky we are to have a house and a place to call home. Sometimes home might not feel like home but we are so lucky to have somewhere to be safe. I hope one day everyone can have a place to live and to call home. That is what home means to me.
