What home means to me

What home means to me. Home is a calming and welcoming place. Home is not just a normal word and not just a building, there is more to it. It is a beautiful, nice place to go to. The thing I love about home is that you can be in a sad mood and the people in your home will make you feel okay. It is best to have a home because you're not alone. You have your friends, family and neighbours. Home is not just all about "mine is bigger or mine is prettier", it is about how you make it. It can be helpful, calming or even safe. My favourite thing to do when I get back home from school is to ask how someone's day was and hear all the stories. The thing is when you think of all the memories even if they are bad you will always have more. There will be ups and downs, but at the end of the day you have to say tomorrow will be better. Home is where dreams are made and where new chapters start. Every day is a new day and a new you. Home is full of loving people and full of happiness and laughter. The best is when you are surrounded by your family and friends. Home is where you start the day and where you end the day. Home does not have to be pretty for you to be happy, it is how you make it. Home is where you want to be!
