From a House to a Home
It was the day they started to build me the new house. There was lumber on its way to build the walls. There were lots of people working. But, yet I didn't know the people that were going to live in me, a not yet finished house. Two months later, the walls were up, the roof was being installed, and there were ten days left until they ordered mud for the walls. Two days until the mud came, and then, out of nowhere, there was a two-month delay for the mud and no more in stock in stores. Finally, two and a half years later, I was done. The furniture was being put in me, and I didn't feel empty anymore. I had three kids running through the halls and it smelt like love because I was no longer a house, I was now a home.
