My Special Place

Home is a special place to me. It’s a place where I am comfortable and can have fun. My house is warm and cozy but sometimes full of craziness. Let me tell you about my home. Home to me means it’s where my family is. I live with my mom, my dad, my brother, and my dog. My mom's name is Paige, my dad is Justin and my brother is Simon. My dog's name is Dorothy. We call her Dottie. I love spending time with my family. I like to invite friends over to my house to play with me. Sometimes my parents will invite their friends over too and we call it a Ticket to Ride night. Ticket to Ride is a game the adults like to play. The kids play other games or watch movies and do other stuff. Whenever we invite everyone over on Ticket to Ride night my mom makes a yummy supper or we order take out. We usually order Chinese food. I also like to celebrate different things at my house like Christmas or birthday parties. I like spending time with all of my family and friends. I also watch movies with my family at Christmas and have sleepovers. Home is a place where I like to relax. How I like to relax is when I lay on my comfy bed or couch. I watch my phone. I use my dad’s foot massager. I also use my mom’s back massager. It feels so good and sometimes makes me sleepy. As you can see, my home is awesome. It’s wherever my friends and family are that makes it special. I don’t need a mansion to have a nice home, I just need a good family, good food, a place to make memories, and a place to relax. I love home.
