My Home

It took my parents a few months to find just the right home. Switching houses was difficult because it didn't feel like home at first, but we eventually got used to it. Me and my mom loved decorating the house. Ie - flowers, pictures and lights. It was summer when we got our house, so my parents decided that I could keep a pet (more than one). Me and my parents chose to get two parakeets. We named them Tipsy and Bob. When I saw them, I was amazed by how colourful they were. One was light blue and white while the other was green and yellow. We heard chirping early in the morning everyday! After school started, the birds got lonely. I decided to send them back to the pet shop (they would get company that way). I was an only child, so I got lonely. My cousin would come over. I was and always will be delighted to have her. Time passed and it was May, my sisters were born (they are identical twins!) It was pleasing seeing them come home. It's a memory that can never be described in words. I've never complained ever since! Our house got noisier and nosier day by day. There are five people in my family. My dad, my mom, my sisters and me! My cousin was 15 months (more than a year) when I was an only child. She turned two years old this month! I've been an only child for 11 years, my cousin made those two years unforgettable. My home is special because my family spread their happiness and laughter there.
