A Place Called Home

A Place Called Home Home means a safe place to take refuge, Home means to have a loving family around you, A place to sleep, relax and confide, Not just a place but something deep down inside. It’s not just four walls and a roof, It's a feeling and my life is the proof, What home means to me is beyond word, It’s a safe space, away from the insane world. My family is the real home, From the very start, It means I’m never alone, Nothing can take us apart. To have a place called home, Shed, palace, house or dome, Whatever shape or size, What utterly matters is the love that’s inside. This is what home means to me, having a home is not just what you see, It’s around people you trust, To me, being safe at home is a must. At your true home, There’s no reason to fear, What home means to me, Is something clear. The meaning to me, Isn’t about what the eye can see, Looking past the walls, chairs , couches and beds, To most it's a building, But I spot love and trust instead.
