My Meaning of Home

Do you know what home means to you? No? Okay well I’ll tell you what home means to me. To me home isn’t just one thing it's a lot of things Home to me is about my family. What makes my home different from any other home is that it has a certain smell. Sometimes I can even smell this same smell on my mother’s jacket. Whenever, I smell this scent it reminds me of home. I will never forget this smell because it reminds me of my family and home. Home for me is a place where I'm loved and supported. A place where I can relax and settle down. Home is a lot to me. It is a place where arguments happen and where good things happen like watching movies with my family. My apartment can be scary sometimes because the fire alarm goes off. Even thought home is filled up with ups and downs I would not want it any other way. I don’t look at my apartment as a shelter or a big room with some walls. My home is much more than that and for that I am forever grateful. I believe everybody deserves a home, a safe and warm home. That is what home means to me.
