What is a Home

What is a Home? Home? House? A house and home may seem like the same thing but however their comparisons aren’t to me. To me, a house is just a place where a living family is contained together in a shelter or just walls and a roof. Although it isn’t always just a family living together it could be friends, it could be cousins, honestly it could be anyone with a relationship together. A house is just a place you live in whereas it protects you, where you fall asleep and eat. To me a home is a place that makes you feel various types of feelings such as happiness, you could feel as bright as the sun, although you won’t always feel happy in your home you could be in pain, a feeling like a dagger had just been impaled. A home is where you make memories, where you feel loved, safe, and with no lack of importance, and when you feel that the place has a place in your heart. Some people may never feel the importance of a home. But one day you’ll find a place to be able to call yours, by the time you figure that out, that place will be your home. Granted that your house can still be called your home, it doesn’t matter what you call a home, as long as you feel all warm when that place comes to mind.
