Mila Coirazza The meaning of home From my perspective the meaning of home is a place where you feel safe to be yourself and know that you are in the comfort of the people who love you. It is a place where you can join together in laughter with your favorite people in the whole world. Home can fill your heart with warmth and security. All the memories that you build in your home will stay with you forever. You spend your best time there during holidays and special occasions. It is a place where you are welcomed for being you. We can create traditions and rituals, things that only we know about that are sacred to us. I smell all the wonderful food cooking for Sunday brunch or my sister's perfume. I can imagine all of my family together playing games or watching a movie and having a blast. A house is not meant to be perfect. Sometimes it could be messy or it can be really neat but that is not what's important, it's the people inside. Where you will grow up, where you will feel safe, a place to laugh and where you can be yourself is the place I call home.
