What Home Means To Me

Home is a peaceful place. It keeps me warm in the winter months. I don’t have to worry about rain coming into the house on a rainy day. I can play with my pets, Nova and Janie, who are both troublemakers and a handful! Home is my quiet place. Home means making memories. In the winter, I built a snowman with my dad and a snow fort on my own. In the summer, my family and I play basketball together. When I was younger, I used chalk on the driveway and created lots of art designs that were displayed for the whole neighbourhood to see. The best thing about memories is making them. Home is a place where I can be myself. If I want to be silly or funny, I can do that at home. While playing video games, I can pretend that I am the character in the video game I am playing. I can wear my pajamas all day if I want to. Home is where you are free to be yourself.
