The place that keeps my memories

When people say the word home, what do you think of? The building you live in? A place you feel safe? A place that you love? A place with some windows, some rooms, and a door? For me, home is all this and so much, much more. Home is the place where I made an igloo with my brother, from snow, Where I make cookies, I plant tomatoes and then watch them grow, It’s where I play and where I find presents under the Christmas tree. Home is where I feel safe and happy and free. Home is where I feel calm and relaxed after a long day at school. During the summer, it’s the place where I feel comfy and cool. It’s where I keep the map on the wall with the places I've been, With the places, I traveled instead of staring at the screen. Home is the place that holds the photos of the loved ones, It’s the place where I dream and learn and gaze at the stars. Home it’s the holder of the things that are important to me, My games, my books, and the pot with the flower that attracts a bee. Home is the place I miss when I’m not there, It’s the place that I'll never forget, no matter where.
