Home Sweet Home

Home is so important to me and other people. Everyone should have a home because that is where we feel safe. When I come home and feel like I had an off-day, I immediately feel so relaxed, protected and loved. Everyone should have this feeling when they get home. ? It does not matter if you own a big or a small house, what matters is a feeling of belonging. A home is a feeling, it is not a thing. I can live in Canada, China or Portugal as long as I have my family with me, the ones who care about me the most and the ones who I love with all my heart. I am a foster sister, my family fostered three children because they needed a home while they could not be with their permanent families. It was a sad day when they left but I know, and they will always know that our family will always be home for them. I hope my writing helps people get a home, everyone deserves this feeling of belonging and I will pray for that too. ?
