Everyone Deserves A HOME

Everyone Deserves A HOME “You know what you’re here for. . .” I whispered to myself, making contact with the humongous crowd awaiting my speech. “You have one message to deliver, and it has to count. You got this,” I whispered again, and finally, I took a nice big breath, and recited my poem. ‘A home is for everyone, and everyone needs a home. The poor people on the street, who we look down on, deserve a home. The people who wander every day, searching for a place, chased away by a war deserve a home. The people who run away from dangers, from people or animals deserve a home. A home is meant for everyone to enjoy, from the rich, to the middle class, and the poor. A home is a place where we can stay and enjoy. A home is a place where we feel like we belong, where we feel safe. Everyone deserves a home to stay, no matter who you are. So let us take part in making a home for everyone. We can donate, assist, and provide to the people who still have no where to stay. Because everyone deserves to feel safe, everyone deserves a home.’ To this day, our world has become a better place, but it can be better. This poem will only reach so little people, and we need more people to see this problem. Spread this message, everyone. Tell people to help benefit our world into a better place where everyone has a home.
