Meaning of Home

“Home isn’t a place it’s a feeling” - Cecelia Ahern Home means different things to different people, to me a house is a structure but a home is a feeling. My home is the city of Peterborough, it’s where most of my memories are from, and where my family and pets are. I love to think back on memories, they really seem to make bad days better. First, when I was 1, I would open drawers and toss containers on the floor. Another one I like to think of is when I was 5 and my sister was 3, we had a tent we would pretend was a rocket. Lastly, playing with legos is something me and my sister do quite often but it's a memory I'll never forget. There are lots of memories I still hold onto. Without my pets my home would be boring. Everybody has a personality, even my fish. He likes to tap on the side of his aquarium when he’s hungry. His name is Bubbles. My favorite pet's name is Albie, he is a two year old tabby. We feed him in the kitchen, so whenever we go in he asks for food. I’ve taught him how to shake-paw. My grandma’s dog's name is Happy. She is the sweetest Bichon Frise I’ve ever met. My pets make me feel happy. My family means everything to me. They make me laugh all the time. Over the years I’ve learned so much from them, my parents are great examples. They’ve made me a better person. My family makes my house feel like home. I have so many memories with my friends, family and pets. I love them very much. When I’m sad I think back to my memories. I wouldn't be here without my friends and family support.
