Meaning of Home

“A house is made of brick and mortar, but home is made by the people who live there” - M.K.Soni. A house is just a building to live in, it doesn't need to look perfect. It's nice when you have cool stuff but that’s not important. Houses come in different sizes but when you have family by your side, you have your own space and memories, home is special. My brothers and I are very close. We argue but who doesn't argue with their sibling(s)? I live in two different houses but I feel that when I’m with my brothers it's more like home. I am the momma duck because they follow me around. It's tiring having them following me because they are very protective. My brothers are important, my brothers are my home. Home is where you make memories. Home is a safe space. You should feel comfortable. Home is where you make memories for a lifetime. It's not meant to be cooler than your friend’s, it's for you. Your memories stay with you for a long time. Home is where memories grow. It doesn't matter whether you share or not, it's still your bedroom. At one of my houses, I have my own room and at the other, I share with my brothers. I don't necessarily like sharing, but my parents have been very kind. I go to my room to relax, so it's really sad to me knowing that some people don't even have a house. Houses are big and small and when you add family, your own space and memories, it makes it pretty awesome. Family is important and my brothers mean everything. We are always making memories. The outside world can be scary. It’s important to have a roof over your head.
