What home means to me

Home, home is a place where you can sit by the fireplace and drink a warm drink, home is a place where you’re able to be you, freely and safely. A house is a place you live in, a home is where you can feel safe and truly happy in. Home means a place to be loved and to love everyone. A home is a place that you feel exited to come back to. Home means getting to tell secrets and stories. Home means memories, some good, some bad and maybe even funny. Home means getting to play outside, home means getting to have parties and have friends over and stay up all night. Home means getting to come home to your pets whether it’s a cat, dog, fish, rabbit, mouse, hamster spider or guinea pig. Home means getting to play outside. Home means getting to chill and stop stressing about everything and where you can express all your thoughts and feelings. Home means having sleepovers in your home. Home means getting to have friends and family over, for Christmas, Easter, Halloween, birthdays or Valentine’s day. No matter what you have, a home is a place to celebrate anything in. Home means getting to go to parties all night then coming home and being exhausted. Coming home to a warm home to sleep in and getting a good nights rest. Home means going to school and making friends and then coming home to a warm home with happy thoughts. Home means getting to have game nights and staying up to watch sports on tv. You can make anything a home with happy thoughts. Home is where I stay. Home is where I belong.
