What Home Means

A home is a safe space where I feel happy. In my home there is furniture, people, things and lots of love. I am very thankful and grateful for everything that I have in my house. In my home where I live, I always have food and water to survive and give to others in need. My clothes are always put away neatly in my closet, my books and toys are messy but that's ok. There are always people in my house, since I am too young to stay at home alone, but for that I am lucky that I always have someone to talk to and be with. Home is my place where I feel happy because I always have something to do, things to eat, feel loved, safe and not alone. I also appreciate my own room to sleep in. I look forward to my parents putting me to sleep every night and know that I am very lucky. Home is my happy and safe place. I don’t always need toys and things to be thankful for, my siblings, parents and grandparents make my home special to me. One day when I am much older, I hope to be able to share traditions with my family that I am growing up with in my home.
