What Home Means To Me

Home doesn't have to be a place or where you are right now. It can be your past or future. It can be a feeling, a person or an object. It can be your home country or even a library. Home is where I have fun, make puns, relax and sit back. It is where I come together with family and friends. These are the people that will stick with me till the end. Home is where I never feel alone. I feel confident and proud of who I am. I can see my brothers helping my mother. They dry the dishes while my mom washes. I watch the dishes swirl and slip out of their grip. I can’t help but smile and bite my lip. I can smell the stew my sister is cooking. I can hear my cousins creating chaos by playing games. I can feel the warmth of a father’s comfort when I enter the home. Home may be only a four letter word. It may be meaningless or imperfect. But my home is my happiness. As long as I am with the people I love, Any place becomes my home. This is what home means to me.
