The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home, to me, is about feeling safe and protected. It is not about how your house looks or what is inside of it, or even how big your house might be, it is about being with the people you love. Home is about the memories you make through laughter and the tears. It is a place that at the end of a long day, you are happy to return to. A home is a place where you not only eat and sleep but take your first step or have family game night. It is a place where great conversations and debates occur. Home is not about the furniture in your house, it's about the people you share it with or who you invite over. Home is where you can turn up the music and dance, sing or it can be a place of relaxation. Home is a place where you can get creative and design what is inside of it. Home is what you make it!
