What does home mean to you?

A home is a sacred place full of love as we have a family that takes care of us to keep everyone healthy. A home is where our family stays most, during these challenging times. Our home is very important because it provides a roof over our head and it keeps us safe. A home keeps the family together in a safe place that shelters us from the invisible viruses and bad weather. A home is where we have fun learning, playing video games, having sleepovers and more! A home requires a lot of responsibilities like reading books, sweeping the floor, mopping it and putting the clothes in the washing machine and all that fun stuff. A home gives us a lot of happiness because we have a backyard to plant things to keep our environment healthy and play some sports that are safe in the backyard. A home means respect because you can’t just throw toys and clothes on the floor or anywhere. A home allows us to sleep in a quiet area. A house is inviting because we bring our family members to our house so we can enjoy everyone's company. A home is great because we have lots of food in the fridge and in the cupboards. A home has lots of technology as we are all learning online. I wish and pray everyone to be in a safe and beautiful home so they can enjoy time with their family and our communities are built for many families doing the same together. It’s extremely important for everyone to have an affordable home. I kindly request Habitat for Humanity make housing affordable for everyone around Canada and the whole world. It’s my dream that no one is born homeless. Thank you, Neha Mandyam
