What Home Means to Me

Home is where we share our space, Home is where we have a place. Home is where you can show any emotion, a place that my parents have put so much devotion. I wish all of us could have a home just like mine, but sometimes, things just come in time. A home is a place to be yourself, a place to put your belongings up on a shelf. You don’t always have to have lots of things, the fanciest clothes, the shiniest rings. Sometimes a home is just you together, Like baby birds huddling underneath their mother’s feathers. A home doesn’t always have to be large, Or very expensive, Or highly charged. It's a place that you will always have, Not always homey, But no matter how bad, It's somewhere to stay, even if it makes you sad. It's a place you can be totally free, a place to spend time together, Just you and me. But there is one thing that I know for sure, Wherever you are, It’s filled with love that’s pure. Home is where we are together, Together always, Together forever.
