What Home Means to Me

To me a home is not a building or a place A home to me is were I feel safe Were I feel comfort and loved I don't think a home is built I think it’s a feeling It’s deep down in all of us It might be where family is Where we just know as home Even people without a roof over their head Can call their place a home A house is not necessarily a home But for most of us that is true but not all So be thankful for what you have When I am scared I think of home And all the great people it has to offer So if you have a house and call it home, Make sure to care for the people you know Remember to show love No matter what color you are or who you are We all deserve to feel this great feeling And what it has to bring So to all of you who feel the feeling Make sure to be kind and share it with others We all deserve to experience it.
