A Home Is Where The Heart Is

At home I feel safe from strangers. Camera and alarms will protect me from anyone that comes my way At home, I fell safe from the weather No snow or rain will bring me down. At home, I feel safe from sickness It is clean, no bugs. At home I feel safe when I hear my family and when my dog comes and snuggles up with me. We always do special traditions that make me warm I hear people laughing and saying sweet words! When I come home my sister greets me and asks me to play We do games in our family like Chinese Checkers It is always fun to play When we play we always make memories we take pictures and we put it in a book we always have them to treasure no matter what we always stick together People who don't have a home are hit the hardest They may have lost job or lack of money or sick or injured A home is a home and people need loving inside, warm places and a lot of happiness and lots of cheer Home is a new start of a new day we can help people find a home Your new house will have a roof and four sides it is clean no bugs and creatures inside and it will give this family a new start for their new life We are thankful for Habitat for Humanity Hope this poem helps people find their place to call home
