A House Is Not A Home
Home is where I eat and sleep.
It's where I get hugs and kisses.
It's a place where I'm safe when night comes.
Where I can rest my head in my bed.
My home is as peaceful as a mouse in its sleep.
When I get home it's like a cat chasing a mouse.
My brother is as crazy as a racoon stealing food.
My dad is as loud as an elephant when he plays the drums.
My mom is as tired as a koala after work.
And my sister is always on her phone.
At night I know my family is here to protect me, I love them.
And that is how a home is not just a house.
