There's No Other Place Like Home

Personally, home is not a house composed of bricks, but instead the feeling of comfort, love, and security. Being four letters, and one syllable, home can mean an infinite number of things to different people. To me, home is also the feeling of being surrounded by family. Home might mean other things to other people, but I feel at home whenever I’m surrounded by my family, and love. At home, I am where I am loved, accounted for, and respected. I always feel comforted at home, but not necessarily in a house. Home is also a place for people to have a positive boost in their bad day, or to someone else’s bad day. Home isn’t just four walls and a roof, but a place where you can calm down, rest comfortably, and have fun. Being safe and secure can mean a home to some people, but other people might think home’s something different; but their opinions will never change what I think home is, and what it means to me.
