What Makes a Home?

What makes a home? For me, a home isn’t an exact place because my parents are divorced, but I know that both of my homes are special. A home is made of family. It’s a place where we can feel comfortable. A place we can feel safe in our own skin, regardless of what other people think. It’s a place of joy, and appreciation. It’s a calm, cozy hideaway. It’s a place where I am able to leave my worries, and feel comfort. My home carries a lot of memories and though I don’t think about it a lot, I would be really upset to leave it behind. My home is the reason I’m able to sleep at night, and without it, what would I do?
