Much More
Houses are places where people stay,
Where you sleep and eat every day.
It's just a building, nothing more,
Built with walls, ceiling and a door.
But homes are much, much more,
It's something you feel in your heart's core.
Love, hope, joy, care,
When you help, trust, believe and share.
Sometimes you fight with the ones you love,
When you might hurt, push or shove.
But for them, you know that you still care,
That when they need you, you'll be there.
Love is what home means to me,
When I'm home, safe I will always be.
Together with my family and friends,
We will love each other until the end.
Home is where I love to be,
Where I live with my family.
Home is where I belong,
With my family, we are strong.
The sad part is that not everyone has their special place,
Where they can have their own space.
By writing, we can do our part,
And help so they can have a new start.
You can write a poem too,
A special one made just by you.
So if you're reading this, why not?
You can do it, give it a shot!
