What Does Home Mean To Me

What home means to me is, coming home from school everyday and seeing my amazing family and friends. When I come home from school everyday I love to relax, watch tv and go outside. When I am on a drive and I see someone homeless, I feel so bad seeing someone living on the street and at the end of the day they do not get to do what I get to do like, relax and watch tv. I could not imagine living without a shelter, a bed and heat. Every night I have a bed to sleep in, but most homeless people either have to sleep on the hard ground or sleep with a few blankets underneath them. When my home is full of excitement, knowledge, love, warmth, and comfort, homeless people's houses are full of disappointment, discomfort and coldness. When I come home from school every day, I am so grateful to have what I have! I am so happy to have love, family, warmth, happiness, anger, sadness, fun, respect and hope. It is so sad to think that some homeless people are either living under a bridge, on the side of the road or in a little wooden shack with no heat, food or water. I am so grateful to have a house to live in and not to be living on the streets. My house is the best! I love my home! When I come home from school everyday I am so so grateful to have what I have! I am so happy to come home to my amazing family and friends. I am so happy to have love, family, warmth, happiness, anger, sadness, fun, respect and hope. This is what home means to me. Sincerely, Breanna Seaboyer.
