A House is Not a Home

A house. When you think of a house do you think of a building with a shingled roof on top? Probably. But I'm not talking about a house. I’m talking about a home. A home is a place where your emotions can be expressed safely, and you won’t be judged for whatever choice you make. You will be supported, in a home. A home is different than a house. A house is just a building with a few rooms in it. But a home is something to be cherished. Not everyone has a safe, secure, and loving place to live. Only the luckiest people have a place to call home. That is why we must appreciate the memories we make in them. When I think of a home, I don’t think of how pretty it is on the outside. I think of the inside and how supporting and special it is. A house is just a building, but a home is something to adore.
