What Home Means to Me

I think home does not always have to be a place where people sleep or eat. It can be a person too. A place, person, or maybe an idea. A house is a place you live in. Home can really be a lot of things. You can go to this person, place, or idea and feel good. Feel relaxed. If you do not feel either of those things while being at your “home,” that is not your home, that is a house or just a random person. Your home can be multiple things, it does not have to be one thing. If your home is a house you live in, you should feel safe there. That building might feel bad to move out of. It can be a place too, like a city. You can feel happy there because there might be friends you care about, fun parks and whatnot. A person too. Having a person that is your home sounds... well sounds weird actually, but it is true. You should feel safe with that person and miss them too if you are moving somewhere. Then an idea. This idea makes you feel safe, excited, relaxed, or just any type of happy word you can think of. I might be bad at explaining things, but these are all homes, whether you like it or not. Or maybe they aren’t, I don’t know. Find your cool home and tell me.
