What A Home Means To Me

I didn't like my new home at first, it was just like any normal home. It had nothing special about it and I thought it was the most boring home ever with its small rooms and one bathroom. But slowly, I started to feel like it was MY home, my personal place where I could do whatever I want and eventually I was okay with saying ‘yeah it's my home’. I love my home and as the years went by I started creating memories there and in the summertime we started to meet new people outside of our home. A home doesn't have to be big, it can be as big as you want it to be or as small as you want it to be. Many people don't realize how lucky we are to have a home. Most people think that a house is the same as a home but that's the wrongest thing I've ever heard. A house is a building, a home is a place in your heart. I feel bad for people that don't know what the difference between a house and home is because that makes me think that they don't have a home or place where they can feel special and loved. So for me a home isn't a place or a building, it's a feeling of being loved, safe and cared for. Not a house.?
